The development of Internet Internet of Things and Cloud computing lead to growth of data in almost every industry and business area. Big data has rapidly developed into the hot topic attracts extensive attention from academia industry and governments around the world. The data is being collected and stored at unprecedented rates. In this paper the concept of big data is introduced briefly including its definition features significances opportunities and value.
